I’ve been to Greece two times and this is some of the most authentic Greek food I have ever had. Opening this last week downtown at 1551 S. Commerce Street, this place will be humming with people who want great food.
I started with one of my favorite soups, diced chicken with lemon, absolutely delicious.
They start with Hummus, spicy feta, phyllo dough pies, taverna cheese plates, Greek salad or Meraki Greek rice or quinoa bowls. I had a carved beef, which is two skewers of exquisite All-American beef, with the tastiest rice and a small salad on the side. They have a lovely selection of gyros and wraps as well.
Finishing up I tried the Meraki frozen yoghurt with baklava and honey. Plenty of festive Greek music, and parking is directly across the street. Really everyone, try them!
