Smoked Burgers & BBQ is the new kid on the block and has quickly become part of Las Vegas’ emerging dining scene. Located on the first level of the Forum Shops at Caesars Palace, Smoked has both a front and side entrance. Even though the food served at a restaurant is a huge component of what makes a restaurant great, it is not the only thing.

Smoked is the complete package, great food, reasonable prices, good energy, friendly and accommodating service in a warm and candied-baconinviting atmosphere. Designed by the management company, Hospitality Boulevard, the team invested a lot of time in creating just the right vibe to make their guests feel welcomed with a nice-size dining room, modern décor, flat screen TVs strategically placed that are ideal for branding or game nights, and live entertainment.

There are a bar area and an outside lounge/patio that is a destination in its own right and a fun place to hang out and people watch with a great view of the Las Vegas Strip. The menu at Smoked is an eclectic mix of elevated comfort food brought to you by Executive Chef David Mangual who honed his skills at several impressive restaurants during his 20+ culinary career.

Don’t be fooled by the name of the restaurant, Smoked offers so much more than burgers and BBQ although the barbecue pulled pork was delicious. Their homemade South Carolina-style barbecue sauce is a balance of sweet and tangy that melds perfectly together. In addition to the pulled pork, we also had the Buffalo Chicken Wings, hearty and flavorful; the truffle Mac & Cheese, rich and creamy with a crusted topping; the “pig candy”, 4 pieces of yummy bacon smoked with brown sugar and Cayenne Pepper; the buttermilk fried chicken blueberry sliders, we figured something that sounded that “interesting” just had to be good but actually, they were better than good, absolutely amazing; a generous portion of BBQ “loaded” nachos, real nachos, not those store-bought nachos, with lots of guacamole and a meal all by itself; juicy and tender smoked pulled chicken, smoked BBQ chicken lettuce wraps, a root beer float that brought me back to my childhood, and thankfully we saved room for dessert, the hot fudge moist and chocolate brownie served in a skillet with Vanilla Bean Ice Cream and Chocolate Sauce was the ultimate ending to an incredibly delicious meal.

It was ridiculous how good all the food was, and we could not get it into our mouths fast enough. Smoked also features an impressive selection of homemade lemonades and sweet teas, a large assortment of draft and bottled beers and handcrafted cocktails. There is convenient valet parking right next to the entrance for only $7.00, just about the least expensive valet on The Strip.

Smoked Burgers & BBQ is a place where people can enjoy seriously good food in a fun, relaxed environment.

My friends and I vowed to keep going back until we have had everything on the menu and then we’re going to start all over again.
