Michelle is a plus-size model from Chicago who works to be a positive plus-size role model for her community. Michelle started modeling in 2006 after she was certified in Makeup Artistry and did both jobs side by side. Now, Michelle is an educator in makeup artistry as well as a professional makeup artist working predominantly in the Chicago-land area; looking to be healthier for herself and her community. “It's OK to be plus-size, I LOVE my plus-size self, but I love myself enough to know I'm really unhealthy and I want to have the courage to stand up and share my struggle. I'm not changing me because I don't love me, I actually am not one of those girls who has issues being confident or who hates their body... I cannot stress that enough. But I know I'm not healthy and you might be sitting in the same place I am, so if sharing my story will help someone struggling then I've done my part.”
