(LAFW).  Thousands of models, designers, paparazzi and fashion and beauty consultants from all over the world descended upon the Los Angeles film and television industry crowd to showcase their work. This is a pivotal year for REIMAGE® Beauty which is in its second season with LAFW. Having produced award-winning fashion experiences, LAFW has gained a reputation as a premiere showcase in this new age of fashion. The series of showcases represents fashion-forward designers and brands in fashion and beauty.

The week-long extravaganza attracted a cross-section of creative architects of fashion as well as make-up artists. Throughout the week, makeup artists thoughtfully created facial artistry using REIMAGE® products to enhance the beauty of the models and designers who have high stakes within the multi-million dollar cosmetic industry. “LAFW represents next level fashion showcasing designers from places all over the globe,” said founder, Tearra Vaughn. Further commenting,  “We are proud to be an official Sponsor of this prestigious seasonal event.”

This was absolutely a great time to introduce the REIMAGE® Beauty line to a new group of runway models who are often exposed to difficult lighting scenarios.  REIMAGE® featured its No FlawTM Liquid Foundation and other products that gave the models a natural and flawless looking complexion rather than giving them an overexposed and unmatched look.

Models walking the runway wearing clothes by fabulous trendsetting designers could often be heard commenting on how much they loved the look created by the makeup artists using REIMAGE® Products. beauty-r-4

REIMAGE® Beauty products, were worn by the models wearing designs by Elie Madi (known for his glamorous designs worn by Carrie Underwood, Katy Perry, and Jennifer Lopez); Bohemian Society by Victor Wilde (known for his theatrical style); R.S. Visual Thing by Radka Salcmannova with her unhinged model presentations; Bo Mathew Metz of Bomme Studio, (Vogue Magazine latest featured label); Fabiana Milazzo, a high-fashion designer from Brazil (known for her beautiful gowns worn by Katie Holmes and Gisele Bundchen); Issue Thailand; Q-Design and Play; Iconic Official; and LaLa Love.

Even though backstage was hectic and fast-paced, it was an opportunity to chat with the makeup artists who brought the beauty looks to life.  They overwhelmingly agreed that REIMAGE® Beauty products gave the ladies a smooth and glowing complexion, which enhanced their natural beauty.  The chosen models were multi-national with multi-ethnic backgrounds which gave the makeup artists beautiful facial palettes to work with.  Their high cheekbones, upswept eyes, and long beautiful limbs were exhibited as well as a departure from the traditional blonde, blue-eyed catwalks of the past.  New global markets have opened featuring fashion representing our diverse world of multiethnic, multi-­mixed palettes of beauty.beauty-r2

The event, of course, attracted a number of high profiled individuals and fashionistas such as Adai Lamar, a trailblazer and radio personality who wakes up LA every weekday morning as the local voice for the Steve Harvey Morning show, and Lisa Vanderpump, a television personality featured on Bravo’s The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills.  Dr. Sabrina Kay, the first female board member of the Petersen Automotive Museum and founder of the nation’s first computer fashion design college kicked off the show.  Noteworthy:  Dr. Kay retired as a philanthropist while still in her 30s.

Tearra Vaughn took bold steps and a leap of faith to venture into the fashion and beauty industry’s largest industry festival. REIMAGE® has now cemented its reputation as the new go-to cosmetic line. beauty-r
